FAQ's

UK law is very specific on maternity care:
Only midwives or doctors or those in training under supervision are legally permitted to take sole responsibility for a child-bearing women except in an emergency. This legal situation means that any therapies used during pregnancy, including massage must be complementary rather than alternative to normal maternity care.
The FHT clearly state that before treating a pregnant client, therapists must obtain permission from the midwife and/or GP and not carry out treatment during the first trimester (12 weeks).
We would suggest you seek the permission of your GP in writing first, however if you prefer not to be worked on you will not require this but you can bring a model instead.

Our tutors are here to support and encourage you, it is highly unlikely that that would happen.

If you fail your course and you are not awarded a certificate you are not entitled to a refund or a transfer to another course - you are entitled however, within 6 months to come back at a date convenient to you and the tutor to take the course again free of charge.

Most of the courses start at 10am, so registration and coffee around 9.45 for class to start promptly at 10am. Depending on class size courses can finish around 4pm

All of the courses apart from the workshops are accredited through 'International Guild of Complementary Therapists' and insurable.

All of our tutors have teaching qualifications and years of experience.

Yes you can.
The only ones that aren't certified and insurable are any of our workshops like for example the massage for beginners and couples workshop; however, this is perfect for those who would like to learn this massage to use on partners, friends or family, couples or for qualified therapists who are rusty and would like a refresher.
All our Diploma massage, beauty and holistic training courses on offer are insurable, which means you can offer them to the public and charge for them.

The courses we offer that don't have any pre-requisites are:

All of our facial courses

Indian Head Massage

Hopi Ear Candling

Crystal Healing

Anatomy and Physiology (home study)
